After completing college and three years of professional baseball I started my own office automation corporation, which included related companies such as a leasing company and a business referral club. I owned these organizations for over 20 years. The in 1990 I turned professional in golf and started playing tournaments during the next 10 years, I won as a professional as well as had many high finishes in tournament play. Due to numerous leg operations and other injuries my tournament career has slowed down but is not over. Additionally I have set five course records, shot over a dozen 62s', with 60 being my lowest score. In 2000 I sold my company and built THE LEARNING AND PERFORMANCE CENTER located at Riverbend golf club in central California. My goal was to teach people how to perform on the golf course, not give golf lessons, through instruction which includes course management, the mental side of the game, the physical side of the game, nutrition, and fitness.
During the past five years I've been lucky enough to spend a lot of time with some truly great teachers whom provided me with an excellent foundation and education. Additionally I have received over 300 hours of supervised training and club fitting from my club company HENRY-GRIFFITTS, a worldwide club manufacturer for the past 25 years. All of this has allowed me the opportunity to work with students and assist them in winning local, state, and national tournaments. However this is not to say that I do not derive just as much pleasure from seeing a new student or average golfer hit a great shot.
